Cruises to the beautiful islands of Hawaii are nothing new, but the start and end of the Alaska cruise season offers lines the ability to create some unique, one-of-a-kind itineraries to this popular sun-splashed paradise.  Recognizing that not all repositioning cruises have to be short and ho-hum, Royal Caribbean has devised an exciting way to reposition its stunning Radiance of the Seas from Alaska: an 11-night Hawaii Cruise from Vancouver to Honolulu.

Departing Friday September 16, 2011 from Vancouver, guests will spend five relaxing days sailing the Pacific Ocean, arriving in Kailua, Kona on September 22nd.  From there, Radiance of the Seas will spend an overnight call in Lahaina, a day call in Nawiliwili, and another overnight in Honloulu before disembarking on Tuesday, September 27th.

For guests put off by the flights to Hawaii, the ability to sail one-way and fly back is a huge bonus.  Unlike the 14-night voyages offered by many lines out of Los Angeles, these voyages only occur every May and September, and tend to vary wildly in terms of their length, ports and arrangement.  Because of this, these itineraries tend to sell out well in advance of their published sail dates, meaning prospective passengers would do well to book their staterooms as soon as possible.
