Since we’re headed back to Ireland in just a few short days as part of our next Live Voyage Report, it seems only fitting that we take a look back at our last visit to this beautiful island in 2009.

Calling on Belfast, Northern Ireland on a bright August day three years ago, we were whisked on one of the best private tours I’ve ever taken, operated by Ireland Belfast Taxi Tours.

From Belfast, we set out on a tour that ended up being seven hours in length and covered nearly every aspect of Northern Ireland, including the famed Giant’s Causeway and off-the-beaten-path places like the small town of Ballycastle in County Antrim, where several tall ships were calling for the day.

Here, then, is a look at our day in Northern Ireland some three years ago:
