Carnival Miracle Cruise Ship Review
The 88,500-ton, 2,124-passenger Carnival Miracle feels downright cozy compared to the line’s newer ships. Fun and festive, her design inspiration comes from fictional icons, marrying marble, tile mosaic, wood veneers, textured fabrics, copper and bronze, and all kinds of glass lighting fixtures to create exciting, bordering-on-wacky décor that definitely takes passengers far, far away from home.
Activities On Carnival Miracle
Music and entertainment venues line Decks 2 and 3 from bow to stern and include a piano bar, jazz and karaoke club and sports bar with names like Sam’s (from Casablanca) and the Gotham Lounge (from the Batman comics). The two-story barrel-shaped disco called Dr. Frankenstein’s Lab feels like a Gothic castle, with dark colors and faux stone walls. The three-level Phantom Theater resembles the Paris Opera House where the famous Broadway musical is set. A bustling lobby bar anchors the glitzy nine-deck atrium that is trimmed like a Christmas tree.
Dining On Carnival Miracle
Dine in the two-story, 1,300-seat formal dining room, the indoor-outdoor buffet restaurant for a little bit of everything or the more intimate and high-end (and extra-cost) American-style steakhouse high up at the top of the atrium—which unfortunately can be a little loud due to funnel vibrations and ambient atrium noise. There’s also a sushi bar, 24-hour pizza and café for fancy coffees.
Family Friendly Carnival Miracle
In the well-stocked playroom, kids can experiment with sand art and a candy-making machine, or play on a handful of iMacs and PlayStations. A huge video arcade has dozens of machines, including air hockey and foosball.
The ocean-view multilevel gym is adjacent to the Greek-inspired spa, decorated with white-fluted columns and images of Greek gods. Miracle has a total of four pools, several hot tubs and a three-deck-high spiral water slide.
Staterooms On Carnival Miracle
Miracle’s roomy standard cabins measure 185 square feet and offer relatively large bathrooms and a stocked, pay-as-you-go minifridge. There are robes for use during the cruise as well as extra-thick mattresses and bedding. Most cabins have a small sitting area with a sofa and coffee table.

Mike and I just returned from a Christmas cruise on the Miracle, this is my 3rd cruise and by far the WORST. I would NEVER recommend this ship..we wasted our money. If it wasn’t for the bar staff at the casino bar and the people we met it would have been a disaster. It’s a Miracle this ship is even floating.
I agree this is the worse ship in Carnival fleet. Entertainment is horrible. Sound for ill planned musicals was so high pitched hurt our ears. Bingo way too expensive for only 3 games. Dining room so dark and outdated. I would never ever recommend this ship not even to my worse enemy.
